Financial Aid Requests

Financial Aid Policy and Procedure Overview

At Castro Valley Soccer Club (CVSC), we want to give every child the opportunity to play soccer.  It is the policy of CVSC to attempt to provide financial assistance to those players who might not otherwise be able to participate with CVSC.  Since CVSC is a volunteer organization, assisted recipients will be required to donate time to help provide additional staffing for games, tournaments, field maintenance, registration, mailings and daily operations.  Benefits can be withdrawn for refusal of any of the above or lack of participation in the club, but we will consider hardship exceptions to this requirement if (e.g. for medical or other personal reasons as indicated in the application form) such volunteer work cannot be completed.

CVSC provides a limited number of need-based financial aid based on total household income.  In order for us to better assess your needs, please submit your applicatiion along with required supporting documents. Failure to turn in all required documents may result in denial of your request.  Many factors such as free or reduced lunch and temporary financial hardships will be taken into consideration.

Below is a checklist of the required documents required to be considered for financial assistance.
