On Friday, January 13, the San Jose Earthquakes and Wells Fargo traveled to Five Canyons Park and presented Castro Valley Soccer Club a $2,000 check on behalf of the Wells Fargo Goals For Education Program. The grant will be used to help purchase new goals for CVSC after vandals caused $10,000 worth of damage to their equipment last year.

Please join CVSC at our first annual Project Fix-It Dinner and Auction Fundraiser to be held on Saturday, October 1st from 6:00-9:00PM at Transfiguration Church Hall at 4000 East Castro Valley Blvd, Castro Valley.

Proceeds from the dinner and auction will be used to replace damaged or stolen field equipment such as goals, nets and corner flags.

CVSC hosted it’s annual season Kickoff Soccer Celebration at Canyon Middle School on September 10.  Thanks to the hard work of our volunteers, everyone had a great time.  There was food, fun and friends plus a fantastic team banner parade.   And occasionally, a referee went into the dunk tank!  Thanks to everyone who attended.  Relive the Kickoff Celebration with the slide show.

Here are some photos from the recent Gold Pride game vs. the Los Angeles Sol. It was "Castro Valley Soccer Club" day at the game in which players, coaches, and family were able to go down on the field before the game. Selected CVSC players also got to play a scrimmage on the field at halftime. The Sol won the game 2-0.
