CVSC is saying “we’ve had enough.
We are declaring Saturday,on which kids would play
September 11th as SILENT SATURDAY
just for fun. We are asking parents and coaches to watch, smile or frown if you like --
and zip your lips. No screaming, no taunting, no pressure on little Johnny and Jane. This
Saturday at least, there'd be no spreading negativity, which can lead to fighting, on and
off the field.
Spectators can clap at goals…but nothing else! Coaches, you can coach your team at half-time and for
subbing players but that’s it! No coaching, yelling, or talking from the coaches sideline.
