The 2009 season to date has been our best season so far among our competitive teams. For the last few years, the Castro Valley Soccer Club has improved it's competitive program each and every year.
Some of the accomplishments for 2009 include:
Three teams were champions of their divisions
- U9 D3 Boys Nor Cal Bronze A Division (promoted to Silver)
- U15 D1 Girls GSSL Silver B Division (promoted to Silver A)
- U17 D1 Girls GSSL Bronze Division (promoted to Silver)
Three teams that came in second place
- U11 D1 Boys Nor Cal Silver 1 Division
- U11 D1 Girls Nor Cal Silver Division
- U19 D3 Girls Al Caffodio
Five teams that came in third place
- U9 D1 Boys Nor Cal Premier Division
- U10 D1 Boys Nor Cal Gold Division
- U13 D1 Boys GSSL Silver B Division
- U12 D1 Girls GSSL Gold Division
- U14 D1 Girls GSSL Silver A Division
11 out of our 27 (41%) competitive teams came in the top 3 of their division. We have 6 Division 1 teams that played in the top flight in the division in their age group and none of them were relegated meaning that all 6 will again play in the top flight again next season.
