A supplemental Competitive Team Tryouts will be held for the following age groups/teams on Friday from 4:30-6:00PM at Canyon MS:

U13/U14 BOYS BRONZE

Tryouts are confirmed for Friday as scheduled.

CVSC will hold a Competitive Program Meeting on Sunday, March 13 at Canyon Middle School, Room D-11.  Canyon Middle School is located at 19600 Cull Canyon Road, Castro Valley. 

Competitive Team Tryouts for the U9 to U14 age groups have been completed.   As rosters are finalized, the bib numbers of those players invited to play on a CVSC competitive team are being posted to this website daily.  Coaches are also in the process of notifying those players that have been selected to various CVSC Competitive teams via phone call.

Thank you for considering the Castro Valley Soccer Club’s (“CVSC”) Competitive Program for your child. This Program provides your child to play soccer at a higher level than the Recreational Program can offer. The purpose of this document is to provide prospective and returning players with information about the CVSC Competitive Program so they can make an informed decision about the upcoming season.

Whether a returning player or someone considering competitive soccer for the first time, most people have the same basic questions:

The Castro Valley Soccer Club will host player tryouts for 2011 U15 to U19 competitive teams in April 2011. There will be two tryouts for each age group/gender. Players are required to attend at least one tryout but are encouraged to attend both.

Some dates, times and locations have changed due to CVSC teams participation in CYSA State Cup latter rounds as well as field availability. Please review the schedule below for the most recent updates.

CVSC wants players to be able to play soccer in Castro Valley regardless of financial background.  With the 2012-13 season we are continuing our financial aid program for Competitive Program players. This program is separate from the CVSC Registration Fee Scholarship Program.
