U15Girls D3-CV UNITED 96 -  2nd seems to be our game

CV UNITED 96- CAPTURES 2nd Place in SOCCER BY THE BAY TOURNAMENT

Game one was an easy decision winning 2-0 with GOALS by Alexa Dutchover and Abi Campion.  In the second game, the teams fought off the exhaustion to  win late in the game (2 min left) with a chip shot by Randi Wong.  Game three was an eventual winner, 2-0 which added yet two other players to the scoring stats, now 6 out of 16 players have scored. The final game  was played in 90 degree heat and went into overtime.  Two minutes left the opposition kicked a sky rocket- "Hail Mary" kick which eventually bounced right up into the sun and bounced a second or third time off someones foot and went in , in slow motion at the far post.

Heartbreaking and unfortunate because we could have taken it in PK's.  This was the first loss of the season and only the 2nd goal scored against in this tournament.
