  Game 8:  Sunday 11/8/09 - CV United vs the Heritage Falcons:  Lost 4-1

• Goal:  Carter Stambaugh, on a breakaway
• Good solid defensive performance by Miles Ogle
• Fine GK work by Alex Sousa

Game 7:  Sunday 11/1/09 - CV United vs the WC Inferno:  WIN!!!! 3-1

• Team takes an early 2-0 lead, gives up one goal in the first half, shuts out the Inferno in the second half, and ices the victory with a late goal at the 47th minute.
• Passing game not as strong but everyone hustled and played hard.  Some good combinations and a fast front line.
• Aaron Milosevic, 2 goals (one via an assist from Carter, another off a rebound after Tyler’s shot)
• Chris Cadrecha, 1 goal (1-touch left foot kick on a rebound from Aaron Vigallon’s corner kick).
• Carter Stambaugh, Assist (to Aaron M)

  Game 6:  Saturday 10/31/09 - CV United vs the Impact 99:  Lost 1-0

• United played good enough to win but is a bit unlucky
• Good passing game with 30 completed passes in the first half, 28 in the second.
• Good goalkeeping by Alex Sousa
• United was first to the ball on the majority of plays
• Surprisingly few whistles... :-)

  Game 5:  Saturday, 10/17/09 - CV United vs Benicia Arsenal FC Black:  Lost 4-1

• Aaron Vigallon, Goal (DFK, penalty after a 3 combo pass play)
• Good first half, United was tied with Benicia 1-1.  Everybody hustled.
• The team played good for 45 minutes but a short breakdown early in the second half was the difference.
• Good hustling performances by Tyler, Chris, Miles, and Carter.  Cameron effective at RMF with tough-nosed play.  Matthan was very effective as the center DB.

  Game 4:  Saturday, 10/10/09 - CV United vs Heritage Falcons:  Lost 4-1

• Aaron Milosevic, goal (part of a good defensive stop and a 3 pass combo)
• Aaron Vigallon, assist
• several good breakaway opportunities by Aaron Milosevic in the first half, and one shot hit the goal post in the second half
• good breakaway blocks by GK Chris in the second half

  Game 3:   Saturday, 10/3/09 - CV United vs WC Inferno:  Lost 2-1

• Aaron Vigillon, goal (DFK)
• the team continues to show progress but the passing game faltered a little bit

  Game 2:  Saturday 9/19/09 - CV United vs East Diablo Impact 99 Silver:  Lost 1-0

• One early goal by the Impact was the difference. 
• Overall the team showed some improvement but the passing game needs work.
• The back 4 of Miles, Alex, Carter and GK Cameron Tyler provided solid defense

  Game 1:  Saturday 9/12/09 - CV United vs the Ballistic United:  Lost 5-1

• Team starts out strong with good passing but falters in the second half
• Matthan Dawit, goal
• Aaron Milosevic, assist

  Saturday 9/26/09 - CV United vs the Montclair Clippers:   Lost 4-1. 

• Chris Cadrecha, goal
• Aaron Milosevic, assist.
• Some good individual performances, but the team struggled in its passing game.

  Saturday 9/26/09 - CV United vs the Thunderbolts.  Lost 5-0

• Some good individual performances, but again the team struggled in its passing game.

  Sunday 9/27/09  - CV United vs the Piedmont Highlanders:  Lost 2-0

• Good individual performances in the first half, but some marked improvement in the passing game.
• 35 completed passes in the second half.
• Revised line up with Preston at CMF provided a good spark to the team, CV dominated the second half.
• Back line of Miles, Alex, and Carter provided solid defense.

 Sunday 9/27/09 - CV United vs the Mill Valley Fusion Red:  Lost 6-3

• Aaron Milosevic 2 goals (one PK)
• Aaron Vigallon, goal
• Preston Vanderpan, assist
• Revised line up again sparked the team.  42 completed passes in the second half, including some 3 and 4 pass combos.
• CV played well in the first half and controlled the flow of the game in the second half 
• Fusion Red often plays at a D1 level, so our D3 boys proved their mettle.
