RECREATIONAL COACHES

The Castro Valley Soccer Club is offering FREE rec. team training clinics for U7 to U19 age division teams. This means you can have your team practice session led by a professional coach. For U9 to U19 teams, the clinics are being offered on Thursday and Friday evenings at Five Canyons starting July 15th and continuing until November 5th. Each Thursday and Friday will have two different times slots (two teams per night). We advise that you take advantage of this opportunity to watch the pros in action and glean any information you can off of them!

NOTE - U7 and U8 teams - instead of the clinic at Five Canyons, the training clinic will take place at your scheduled practice. Send requests to either Erin Sincerny (erin@24-7uksocceracademy.com) or Jeremy Miller (jeremy@24-7uksocceracademy.com) and put in a request for training on one of your practice days. Be sure to mention which field, day, and time of your practice.

To get started you can reserve up to 2 time slots you would like to participate in. As the coach you should stand with the trainer on the field and be an active part of the practice. We suggest you bring something to jot down ideas on, watch how the trainer transitions from one drill to the next, how the trainer interacts with the players, and how the trainer teaches the techniques.

During the 2010 soccer season we will be holding a Recreational Drop in Center in Castro Valley, open to all division 4 recreational players in Castro Valley.

LAST SESSION OF SUMMER THIS SATURDAY!

Fun, technical based sessions designed to give players of all ages and abilities the opportunity to experience a positive soccer adventure prior to the start of the Division IV Recreational season in Castro Valley.

At the recreational level, kids are able to play for fun while their basic skills grow. This is for those just starting out in the game, and for those who simply want to run around with their friends, recreational soccer is the perfect level. Soccer is probably the best sport available for children to play. It is easy to learn, it is active, it is exciting. Kids love to run around and kick a ball, and recreational soccer lets them do that. For those children who develop a proficiency and wish to learn more about the game, CVSC offers a competitive soccer program.

Ages: Recreational players born between August 1991 and July 2004. (See Grasshoppers & Bumblebees for younger children).

Price:  $210 - Price includes two soccer jerseys (one green/one white), shorts and green socks.  Parents supply Shinguards, soccer cleats and soccer ball.

Practices start in July, practice times to be determined by coaches. Coach will contact you in Early July with dates and times.

Games start last weekend in August for 10 weeks.
