Due to the demand for our first class earlier this year, CVSC is sponsoring a second entry-level referee clinic for those interested in becoming USSF certified soccer referee. The minimum age is 12 years old by August, 2011.  The clinic is 18-hours long and is comprised of five classroom lectures and field work sessions along with a post-clinic certification exam.  The post-clinic examination must be passed in order to complete the certification.  Given the nature of the material covered and the certification test, it is strongly suggested that students attend all sessions

Congratulations to our newest group of USSF Grade 8 referees.  The individuals listed below completed the 18-hour entry-level referee class, including a comprehensive final exam.  Please join us in welcoming them to our soccer officiating community.

Ever wonder about or disagree with a referee’s call?  Ever think you could do a better job with the whistle or flag?  Learn and earn your USSF referee certification and badge at the CVSC sponsored entry-entry level referee class to be held in late May and early June.

CVSC is proud to continue its reputation for offering the finest referees from Northern California to officiate at our games and tournaments.

We encourage players, coaches, parents and anyone interested (12 years and older) to take the referee class. Being a referee provides a very different perspective on the game and helps develop youth players in to soccer experts. Not a bad way to earn a few extra dollars along the way.
