We are (again) extremely proud to present the finest group of referees from Northern California and Nevada to officiate our tournament. Of our 89 tournament games, 80% will have either a FIFA or USSF National Referee with a whistle. To give you an idea of how uniquely qualified and accomplished these referees are, the USSF has a total of 143,000+ registered referees, of which there are only 25 FIFA referees and ARs and 250 National Referees! Together, these officials represent less than one-fifth of 1% of all USSF referees nationwide. Remaining games will be refereed by State Referees, including CVSC’s own 2007 District 4 Youth & Adult Referees of the Year, Conrad Garcia and Steve Manos.

Specifically, we’d like to acknowledge Kari Seitz, FIFA Referee and Chris Strickland, FIFA Assistant Referee. Kari had the honor of representing the United States at the 2007 Women’s World Cup in China this past summer while Chris had the same privilege representing the United States at the Mens World Cup in Germany in 2006.
