CVSC’s U14G Premier team was recently featured on the cover of Compete Nation magazine with lengthy story chronicling their last three years as team. The U14 Castro Valley Girls’ soccer team has taken quite a unique path on its journey to compete with the best teams in Northern California and beyond. While in existence since U9, the team has gone through a metamorphosis in the past 5 years into something that is almost unrecognizable today.
U16 Boys Win NorCal State Gold Cup
3rd State Cup Championship in Club History
TURLOCK, CA - The CVSC U16 Boys United - Green won the club’s 2nd NorCal State Cup this year and 3rd in club history when they defeated the San Ramon Azuri Boys 95 in the Norcal State Gold Cup finals on Sunday, May 1 with a 3-2 golden goal victory after the match ended in a 2-2 draw after regulation time.

The Castro Valley SC Fury 14 Girls Division 1 team advanced to the CYSA State Cup of Round 16 this past weekend with two wins and and loss in preliminary round play.
U13 Girls Win NorCal Premier 1 State Cup
2nd State Cup Championship in Club History
WOODLAND, CA - The CVSC U13 Girls United - Green won the 2nd NorCal State Cup title in club history when they defeated Elk Grove Everton in the Norcal Premier 1 Cup finals on Sunday, February 13 on kicks from the mark (5-3) after the match went full-time and extra-time without a winner. Securing their fifth tournament championship of the season, United was one of only two teams to go undefeated throughout all five rounds of the tournament.
CV Fury U14 Girls Win Last Two Tournaments
Dublin Fall Classic & Placer Prestige Cup

Castro Valley Fury have taken home 1st place in their last 2 tournaments.
On September 25th and 26th they won the Dublin Fall Classic beating San Ramon Azzuri 5-4 on penalties in the final. In group games they beat San Ramon 1-0, drew 1-1 with Sunnyvale and beat Tri Valley 6-0.
On October 30th and 31st they won the Placer Prestige Cup beating Turlock 1-0 in the final. In group games they beat Bay Oaks 4-0, drew 1-1 with Turlock and beat Nevada Elite 1-0.

CV U9 & U10 Girls advance to Semi-Final in Nor Cal State Cup

Both the U9 and U10 girls had a successful weekend in Sacramento this past weekend where they played 3 2nd round qualifying games followed by a quarter final game.
The U9’s won their quarter final 2-1 against Livermore, while the U10’s won their quarter final 5-1 against Juventus.
Both team will play a semi final on Saturday 20th November in Manteca. We wish both teams the best of luck.

U19G CV Speed Demons bring home Silver
San Ramon Scramble
The Scramble's 13th year brought sweltering heat and some fierce competition to San Ramon this last weekend. Down two players to injury, the Speed Demons battled but lost to the finalist from last year, Livermore Blue Flames, by the score of 2-1 in a back-and-forth match. Both teams showed off superb passing games, great team defense and keepr play in a game that could have gone either way. The game winner was scored on a free kick just outside the 18 with under 10 minutes in the match.
The Speed Demons defeated a talented Pleasanton Renegades team in the opener and played to a 0-0 tie in the second game against last years Champion, San Ramon Boomers. The Speed Demons closed out group play with a 4-2 victory over Livermore Fusion to reach the finals.

CV United U13 D1 Girls WIN HK Shoot-Out
Mission Valley HK Shoot-Out Sunday, Sept. 26
FREMONT, CA - The Castro Valley Soccer Club U13 D1 Green girls team won the Mission Valley HK Shoot-Out on Sunday, Sept. 26 in dominating fashion. Securing their 2nd tournament championship in four weeks, United won all 4of their games, scoring a total of 16 goals, while conceding only 1. The girls stayed committed to attractive attacking soccer and were justly rewarded with significant possession of the ball, as the games were predominantly contested in their opponents" half of the field. United got the tournament started on Saturday with a 3-1 win over Palo Alto, followed by a gritty 1-0 victory over the Vacaville Thunderbirds. Sunday morning saw the girls outplay Mission Valley by a 5-0 margin, which represented the first defeat of the season for the host team. United then secured the trophy with a relaxed 7-0 win over Lamorinda White. Building on the success of their previous tournament win, the results brought United's record to 9-1 over their last 10 games, giving the girls significant momentum for continued Fall league success.
