Castro Valley High School is hosting the Winter Classic Boys Varsity Soccer Tournament. Winter Classic was started 17 years ago and is now considered one of the best High School Varsity Tournaments in Northern California. This is the first time CVHS is hosting, 24 teams participating. A number of current and past CVSC players are taking part. Castro Valley games are as follows:
For the first time in Castro Valley High School’s Boy Soccer history, CVHS will be the host school for the 2013 Winter Soccer Classic.
The Winter Soccer Classic is considered to be one of the best high school soccer tournaments in California, according to CVHS assistant boys varsity soccer coach Rob Flores.
It’s also a great way to kick off the soccer season.
The tournaments will be held from Dec. 2 to Dec. 7 at the Trojan Pitch (CVHS’ football field).
Dec. 7 is called “The Night of Champions”, as the champions of each division will be decided.
Admission for adults is $5. High school students and children 10 years or older are $2.

GOLD DIVISION MATCH at 6:30 p.m. — Castro Valley High School vs. Newark Memorial High School

GOLD DIVISION MATCH at 4:30 p.m. — Newark Memorial vs. Deer Valley High School
GOLD DIVISION MATCH at 6:30 p.m. — Castro Valley vs. Foothill High School

BRONZE DIVISION MATCH at 4:30 p.m. — Washington High School vs. Alhambra High School
GOLD DIVISION MATCH at 6:30 p.m. — Castro Valley High School vs. James Logan High School
